Living in a world of blazoned speed Having trouble making sense of it all Unrecognizable trends gazing into nothingness And no manual to guide us Current job descriptions shudder performance Destination’s road connecting all points Taking our offices with us where ever we go Irrational discussions keeping boundaries and space Skilled labor riddled with uncertainties Formed amid prevailing existential confusion Arising from the rubble Interactive communities birthing surround sounding spirituality Modes and politics, to economic growth Interdependence grown in micro structures Does it make any sense? Was it wild card race? Or pastoral care development Engineered by Fox television Leaders keep on their toes, moving teams of men Who are no longer home grown. Automatically obsolete by informational flaws Postmodern leaders rebuilding all they can get By embracing the young and opened gates Of unlearning all that was educated Less qualified economics call us the home of the brave Outwardly mobile, here I stand, From hi fi to stereo, professing conservative Think future but planning backward Is our modern technique Pick apart any creative thinking Fearing word images Linear to leadership Turning the headlights off From sea to shining sea our children Doing penance in a trunk in the attic While the Pentagon hunt Osama bin Laden And key terrorists from the Middle East Living among the wounded in the Big Apple While four Rwandans face trial |

LeeJ, The face in the mirror frightens you. Never fear, the world is still here. |
