I made the gif after I had some difficulty editing the html in here... and just in case there is a poet out there that does not have "dauphin" installed as a font on their system

Oh  Luna
in   White   we
see, has
risen  up  with such luminosity
This   cold  new  to  remember   night
But   behold,  before  our  watches   we see
The dimming of her light comes so naturally
As we gaze in
beauty's  awe at Luna  Red
Hush  creeps  across  her  face as if to, in
humility  blush.  Ribbons  of  rose  and
crimson    ebb   and   flow   like
the     tide      in     her
Lovely   grasp.

There's a lunar eclipse tomorrow night(Nov. 8th ... starting at about 8 pm EST and continuing till about 10... that will make the moon appear blood red.
And By the way... Thank you Marge, for the inspiration..... You are the best.... and now I know what kind of work it takes to do one of these.

Uh guys.... I am blown away by all your responses.... and I have a message.... I think that the eclipse is happenning on Saturday night.... not tonight.... I must have been on drugs when I was listening to the news for this one..... Please forgive me if I am a day early.... and thank you for such wonderful words of encouragement!!!

Sherry

Do some moon-gazing anyway.... just in case... and because she is so gorgeous.

Sherry, this was magical--and highly creative!

~ To moon magic!

Linda

P.S. You might want to change the date of the lunar eclipse to November 8.

Sherry, this is absolutely beautiful.
I'm sorry that I hadn't seen it before now. I was off the computer for a while. I love the way you did the whole thing, and am glad that Marge inspired you to do this. Thanks for sharing it with us.
