It rains again tonight and I'm ready to go home. In a message on my phone you said, "I just called to see if you were dead." Even coming from you that seems a strange thing to say. I hit delete, but couldn't stop the thought that wandered through my head... Where are you in the world today, and is that really what you want? I'll be gone soon enough, then who will you haunt? You are like a promised rose that almost bloomed, but chose stubbornly instead to grow more thorns. Which one of us is really doomed? ©2003 by icebox |

icebox...I do wish you could get another number. In my flower shop that kind of rose is not used....the thorns are too sharp to remove. Hugs! |

What a growler that had to be....tell ya what, if I had her email address I'd send her a link, so she could read both the poem and what us folks who actually like you have to say about it. Of course then she'd prolly haunt you here....maybe not such a good idea.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Thank you all for your kind words. I appreciate you all. As for this person, well, I learned a valuable lesson back then(perhaps more than one); I learned it is better to suffer a problem person than to be one. *smile* Thanks again for reading poetry and for taking time to comment. |

Good! You deleted her number! Now get the number of a good woman who would appreciate a fine man such as yourself! EA |
