Every morning I wake up To the sun peering through My windows I look to the empty side Of my bed And wish to wake up To a smiling face there But that is only in dreams When I wake up Nobody is beside me I am all alone I start to cry As I think of always Being by myself I get so depressed I can't crawl out of bed Sometimes until noon And then 2 hours later I crawl back into bed Waking up alone Is not what I want to do For the rest of my life Cold hands means a warm heart |

I do to sometimes, but you know what, I'd rather nobody be there then somebody who would be unfaithful, lie, be controlling...perhaps you and I are way to selective, but after a few dates now and then, I think, whewww, wiping the sweat off my brow, "Thank God I'm single"  Not the same world today, and I won't compromise the free life I have now, its peaceful, and I'm doing more now then I've ever done in my entire life...so, I need compatibility, someone who is much like me, and who is confident and has learned to be alone, doesn't need a woman on his arm to feel good about himself. Has goals, and doesn't wear a mask, knows what and who he needs and wants. He's not a player, nor afraid of his own shadow and loaths decipt. He is very content and happy....and yes, indeedy sometimes it does get lonely, but by darn, I'm not alone, and want a man who isn't needy. Know what I mean? |
