How much can you give where others can live
that much of your self stacked on a shelf
do you give it all and keep nothing at home
do you bet on the same mare at the hippodrome?

I choose to give in moderation
artistic leaps hurdle stagnation
I am my own horse that runs this race
to occupy the grey matter within my space...

No more selling short to vendors of mass hire
they'll ask for more, and treat you as a squire
must concentrate efforts to materialize self-wealth
yet remember no success comes without individual health.
