~* Life And Dancing The Web *~

Misted morn gingerly pulls up
Her shade in witness
Of towering spruce and cedars
Planted where every single blade
Of deep grass now bends,
In a crystal-beaded nightdress.

Silvered leaves bejeweled in
Sparkling webs of silk
Glitter in the morning light,
Inviting long lingering
Legs of death who wait
Anticipating their next dance.

Gently one single diaphanous thread
Lightly strummed drips a note,
A certain life-altering melody
Pattering awake the unsuspecting
Who sleep soundly, so unaware
That today will be life changing.

How like insects we’ve become
By comparison,
That only a single note of kindness
Strummed from the velvet chords
Of sheer pleasure or deceit
Will lead us to dance the web.

(smiles) Oh Sharon, I know spiders scare so many but I love spiders as they are beautiful artists and whenever my sisters see a spider and scream and want me to kill it, I just put it in a jar and put it on a tree outside! (kiss on cheek) God Bless You, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sharon, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Thank you ladies, and Noah - you are too cute!  This was a poem comparing how we can believe everything we see and hear on the Internet, and I just thought it much like a spider's web - see?

Ah yes...oh what tangled webs we weave when we first practice to deceive...a very good poem and message for everyone.

Sharon, this is a beautiful poem and picture, with a very needed message put forth!! People like me who have only gotten on the internet a couple of years ago, could be taken advantage of very easily....especially ones who are naive and trusting.

Thanks for this, Sharon.
Hugs
Ethel

I am humbled by your responses, thank you.  A lot of deceit, hurt, broken hearts, and money are taken from innocent people every day on this square box.  We are real people behind these screens, some with wonderful hearts, others with very cold ones, and no conscience.  I hope everyone take the time to discover what is real from that which is virtual and fantasy.  Thanks to all of you for reading this, it was an important little ditty to me.
