Has the tree sap grown too thick with the chilling of mid Autumn,
The bright colors fade to brown then twirling to rest on the ground,
I gather up brown bags full of once greens just a season past.

and when we gather those greens, perhaps by looking at ourselves we can find what we lost...and accomplish from that.

I remember, in school, gathering leaves of different colors to iron between wax paper..
