In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2003-11-03 07:02 PM

Something you whispered in your words

fragile-- tough to hear

of earth   broken

once

   rare gifts

now burnt ash

here I fell   in yesterdays dust
slipping   silently across
night

I, who have seen
   your eyes sleep --
endless moments in
crimson light

I probe dreams with black fingers;
searching for    time    in

half    finished walls,

for more peace  --  I  inhale

stone by stone, grain by grain--
we spoke of memories--
your abuse affected my smile

How many Octobers
  left me?    meeting my shadow?

My muse reminded me
fragrances in  bottles, was
lavender    floating
like feathers     from     the sky

  {I studied once, the instructions,
they seem distant now-- from all
     I remember -- to far from here}

   shades returned to dance
in darkness

that all this blue goes with out pain

staining glass

i carry your heart with me
i am never without it
you are what a moon has always meant sky of sky
the wonder that keeps stars apart-
e.e.cummings

Lauren,
this is so moving, and damn, very touching...

I think this part touched me the most, but all of it, is amazing

I am keeping this one

I failed miserably when I tried to pick a favorite passage... for the whole is so excellent. *S*

Rare gifts? ...
yes...your exquisite poetry is indeed.

Such a talent, indeed.

Again, your words remind me of anothers'...

Beauty, brains, & talent... (and in the spirit of Halloween & Harvest)... what a deadly combination!

Enjoyed!

(big hugggsssssss) Oh Lauren, this sounds so sad, sweet friend, I sure hope this abuse isn't of your own, as you are a wonderful person and no one should ever be abused like this! (sad sigh) I send angel hugs your way, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Lauren, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
