I'd have To Say that it's She

'Tis well-nigh arduous to describe her kiss,
She snared my heart at the first pressing of lips,
In her eyes 'tis tenderness that exists,
Yea towards calenture need oftentimes trips.

Mayhap we are more then the sum of our hearts,
The conjoining of souls, the melding of wants,
And we'll press ever onward by fits and starts,
Ignoring life's ruins, uncertainties, and taunts.

What is it that makes existence worth living?
In answer I'd ever have to say that it's she,
Yea life, sweet life, is often unforgiving,
But her ardor brings me naught but joyous glee.

Seems there are ne'er enough hours in the day,
To gift her a kiss or bring her a bouquet.

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
