I woke up feeling out of sorts, like I might have the flu. I fell while putting on my shorts and got a bump or two. The first one wasn't all that bad, I got back into bed, the second one was pretty rad, it looked just like my head! Oh, mirror make it go away it's spouting silly rhymes. A ballad for a crazy day amidst these crazy times. That stupid bump, it makes me laugh, sometimes until it hurts. "I wonder if I'm going daft?" it says from my night-shirt. Now cut that out, you goofy bump, there's no need to get wise. I give him a resounding thump which brings tears to my eyes, and sprouts another nasty bump that looks just like my head! I pulled it's hair right out in clumps cuz this was what it said! A ballad for this crazy day amidst these crazy times. Oh mirror, make it go away I'm sick of all its' rhymes. The punch line its' come up with's not the one I want to hear, take that, you bump who looks like me, and blow it out your ears! I gave that bump another whack, you guessed it, sure enough. I don't know who's been keeping track, in fact, just off the cuff, I'd have to say what happened next is still a mystery, just how that bump can take his lumps and still look just like me! A ballad for a crazy day amidst these crazy times. Tha fact that it won't go away's the reason that it rhymes. My punch line is much better so I'll use it here instead... of beatin' on that stupid bump cuz, Damn!, that hurts my head! |

serenity, OW! Thank you. OW! Cut that out! OW! Doc EA, Thanks. Well, I just try to put my best foot forward, and... keep it outta my mouth! Doc ice, Thanks much. It'll be a cold day in Bewilderment when I can't laugh at myself. Best part is, I seldom get offended. Doc Sadelite, Thanks, but, it ain't about winning. It used to be, but, now it's all about challenging myself. To derive every nuance out of countless combinations of words in an ever constant attempt to distill my thoughts. A raving lunatic, I might be, but , at least, they're all mine. Doc Terri, Thank you. I may very well have to call a "Foolsycian" it seems I may have lost my marbles once again. OOps! Doc |
