A city of colours is falling on its knees praying to the God of autumn questions gathering like leaves from the emptying trees barren hearts hung out on a line of guitar strings broken chords playing melancholy tunes for the soul memories of love filter through the cloud cover rays of light rare to the eyes of November digital photography developing by darkness pictures of the summer stored in the empty space of nothingness my mind fills with images of your face sweet vanilla skin touching the circling sky of blue fragile hands painting on a solid canvas of forever I can not see beyond you but I can see beyond the sky space is a distance that I can measure your distance I can not measure mathematics can not define you I count the days back and I find they are actually years wasted by collecting poems and recycling words letters not sent and books not written it is gone away the special feeling inside of me the thing that makes us all unique the way you made me feel was unique there are no pictures for this feeling there are no words for this feeling it is there and then it is gone. |

You've blended images, colors, and superb use of personification of the season and nature to illustrate your vision and express the emotions. Very well done poet sir... Welcome to poetry land...so nice to have you here with us. I look forward to reading more of your impressive writing. You're the color of the sky reflected in each store-front window pane ... |
