With pen in hand,
trying to compose the words.

Wishing to write
in a lambent verse.

Try as I may,
try as I want
but cannot.

I am lost in
a world of

Rhyme.

Cute poem,  and for the record....this
malady affects many.... until one day
something goes "poof" (after much studying
of meter and rhyme)....and it happens...

For whatever it's worth,
I haven't written anything
worth a "flicker"
for weeks
When all else fails,
find the time to
read
read
read

If it helps, I've ALWAYS been lost in the world of rhyme . . . and lambent verse is beyond me (don't even know what it is)... but that really doesn't help, does it...hope your muse bites soon, my friend....me, I just write junk all the time so don't know when/if I lost it - or accidently gained it either....but I have fun, and that's the name of the game, I think.

Really like the way you phased piece too...

Don't feel alone
Don't feel astray
I know just how you feel
I feel just the same way.
One of the ones I admire most
Mr Magnus just said
Someday poof like a ghost
I hope that happens in my head
I'll take his word for it
He's well versed in rhyme
Maybe it's our turn,
maybe now it's our time.
hehehe.. I have been battling with this for a LONGGGGGGGG time, so don't feel alone. Months ago I read an article about Freida Kahlo, and then about 2 days later I found out there was a movie out about her at the time, and I also read about the Wright brothers. After reading I wrote a little better so reading inspired me at that time. It may help a little. I think I had run out of exp's to write about.
Well God Bless, and I hope for you, and for me it gets better.
Love,
Terri~

Hi mean and green. Had to read this. Don't worry about rhyme dear friend. Each of us has ouir own unique voice. Sure read other peoples stuff, play with words and dream the dream. But in the end it is the depth of feeling with which you write that will always pull me in for another read. Have a great ***RIBBIT*** day!

Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history!
