I Seek

I seek a rainbow bubbles flight
Within the rubble of the night
A dance within a wished for wile
To answer callings of my dial

I seek it with a passions flute
Within my call and birthday suit
To chance with me old natures dance
A leap of joy and some romance

I would it in a pantomime
The very first of aging time
A bubble on a wayward thrust
To burst upon a touch of lust

But bubbles come and bubbles go
And non return the same and so
My seek has gone a widows walk
And turned into a shadows stalk.

So now I walk an aged seem
And do my stalk within a dream.

it has blown in the past with
its crutch its old age and its widsom
it whispers no this won't be the last

Bubbles are like anything else
that contain magic, Sy...
they will always be
what you make of them...

and you make yours fly mighty high...

My Dear Mr. T., I'll get back to reading the rest of the poem, but the following gave me cause to pause! lol

"A bubble on a wayward thrust
To burst upon a touch of lust"

~ Seek and ye shall find!

Well now ... I have to tell you the visions that this brought to mind there son.  First off this man running around in his birthday suit was cute, but blowing bubbles?  Oh my!  Then the metaphors overtook me and the sadness of the soul draped that body in a sheet of lonliness, and I wanted to hug that person to death, yes I did.  Hey - orange suits you!   Miss you both.
