Alone I stand in the rain As it gently cascades on me Each drop representing the hurt My heart has felt Eyes closed, I feel it on me As it becomes one with my tears The rain falls harder Searching for my ailing soul Pieces of my broken heart Join each raindrop Slowly falling to the ground My body is gradually getting weak I’ve endured too much trauma It has finally reached an end The last dropping piece will confirm I shall never love again My soul eternally lost in a dark hole This body is now but a hollow core I gently open my eyes and see The last piece of my heart Trying to find a last hope Showing the desire to live Willing me to give it that last chance Shall I love again? Fate has told me I shall I will love the last piece of my heart ~A touch of Sweetness . . . . . A lifetime of Serenity~ |
