The boat cuts through the winding river as a needle splits the thread. With blades shaving the top of the water and the Coxswain steering the head. Wind at their backs, the water races past the landscape blurs from bow to stern And finally, the horizon disappears at last as every muscle starts to burn. I sit on the riverside, watching the eight-man and I’m jealous of each and every one of you While you boast the ability to be free of the land.. I’m wishing I could be on the varsity crew. |

Maybe you could...just take a vacation, and do it for YOU! Maybe it's not for forever, but for a week, or two is better 'n nuthin,' right? Maybe on a charter? Seems a shame to waste a dream. Terri~ |
