The nibbums and the nackers are knackered down The street is breathing Cities and lights too bright for me to sleep Can I have a little peep? Flames flashing Why do they crave the dance When two become one silent, still Again? Save me the peaches, Mom - You can have the apple crisp -y chips...crisps. Suddenly purple becomes too purprle And lightning strikes are never striking For they haven't hit a solid thing For more than twenty years. I wondered where the butter went To slickly slide a square of it Around the fuzzy peaches (MOM! SAVE ME THE PEACHES!!) And snorting sugar from cereal box Lucky Charms indeedy The limping turtle's speedy And my toes are much too meaty From no sleep and lack of peachy. I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly, or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming I am a man. --Chang Tzu [This message has been edited by KoKo (10-25-2003 03:53 AM).] |

I came back looking for this one because I enjoyed it so much yesterday. I liked your explanation too--and this indeed feel "free associated" and I found it really effective as a form in the way that sounds and smells do come back to remind of comforts found so long ago. So yep-I wanted a second helping. Your plea for peaches left me feeling all fuzzy inside. |
