~It's True~ Teddy bear fur, what a dusty place When I look at your picture I see dust around your face You there seeming so deep in thought Now when I think back I see all I've been taught. Maybe they weren't pleasant, or at least not them all But not one do I regret, not even the fall. Lot's of hurtful, painful things have been done, and said But all in all I love you, in my palm that must have been read. Off, and on your own, away from each other we have grown And even though I miss you, and sometimes I feel alone I see from your words, and from your tone All became something you didn't want, it became a distant drone. In all the anger, strife, and heart breaking aches I wish, for you, even now, a life that is happy, and fulfilling And I wish on each mornings new wake, you would forget all the things that make your heart break. Reach beyond the anger, hatred and hurt Forget the pain; for your life, in that, there is no gain. Forgive all words so life-draining, and curt. I pray you go back to a clean slate, so clean, and plain. Mark it on the calendar, chart a new course, and know I won't be there to burden you. Hurting you is my only remorse. Hugs you big time girlie...funny how things come out that way when they are the furtherest from your mind. I think I'm cursed with being taken wrong and being misunderstood, and that's understatement of the century. Well I guess I just never get use to it, but I have to live with it. Hurts alot so thank you so much for understanding. It's not a usual occurence so that's why I said what I did at one of your writes this morning! I loved this poem. I can tell you put a lot of emotion behind this! --“Mark it on the calendar, chart a new course, and know I won't be there to burden you. Hurting you is my only remorse. Try to believe me; it's true.”-- --I can relate so well... I hurt someone very close to me once, and all I wanted to tell them was to move on, that I never meant to hurt them. |

Thank you lonely kitty...it's really made worse when it seems all you say is taken wrong, and no matter what you try they never believe you. Well I can only hope someday I will be (understood) for what is really in my heart, and what is REALLY meant. So sorry for your hurt. I hope all turned out good for you.  (big hugggssssssss) Oh Shara, I know this feeling ever too well, and when I was a little boy, I was desperate for attention and when everyone neglected and abused me, I guess that struck me as no one really cares and just wants me to shut up so I've been lonely for the past year and a half! (sigh) This is powerful and emotive, sweet friend, God Bless You, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Shara, thank you for sharing! Terri...I've been in your shoes many times, being misunderstood by some one you love and causing them pain.Saying things that come out the wrong way is one of my biggest faults. Now I'm thinking about that cute little teddy bear I gave my ex girlfriend oh lets say about two months before she left me...she has the teddy bear and I have nothing...it's true...James |
