Perhaps You Will Never Know

Communication breakdown
Causing me to feel low
Perhaps he had grown tired
Without letting me know

Why could someone special
Have me feeling downcast
Perhaps he began moving on
Whilst I clung to the past

Neither of us said goodbye
Not that I could recall
Perhaps he had never heard
My lonely teardops fall

Nothing became of promises
After days of anticipation
Perhaps he as good reasons
For avoiding explanation

Communications grew less
Was mail getting through
Perhaps he will never know
I was left without a clue

Having experienced this a few times...there does come a time to reevaluate the relationship...to make sure both are on the same level...the signal seems to be that he only wants a casual relationship...but only you and he can determine those things and make rational decisions...James
