and bask in the certainty
that it doesn't get any better than this
like a soft gentle breeze
caressing your face while you sleep.

When the seasons change
and leafs turn to gold
when the snow falls and drifts
and spring blooms again
and you're not alone anymore.

When all that you know
and all that you see
is the firelight in your lover's eyes
is a reflection of you
and all that you need.

As the velvet moon rises
and leans down to kiss
holding you close in the night

I know more than most as Ed is my older brother. I am so thrilled he isn't alone anymore. He is the most reclusive I know and he is finally coming out. I love this man more than life. Thank you for putting it into perspective. It was a true pleasure to read.
