Sometimes
daydreams are flammable
often I stench of fires smoked to death
the embers~flashbacks
burning long after damage

such tiny glow
is enough

to spark
you
beautiful dangerous flame

only to drown
your element

with the bitter sob
of fallen tear
wrench of body
and mind

Not far from flame
is water

always

Thanks you guys. You know what, this was the first poem i'd written in a long while that i actually liked.

Glad you enjoyed reading, because I enjoyed writing.

Windy lizzie, yep, fire when you smell it, run for the hills. or blow for the hills in your case. heh.

Lol Janet Marie, like a moth to the flame, I must be a moth too! I always go for the pretty lights, that hurt! (though as i think i've said before, i am frightened to death of moths. harmless i know, but its the flapping!)
