You meld into me, your cold hands.. My mind has trouble understanding touch. And how insignificant is this, my hand lightly stroking the silk in which I lay? How perfect is the threat of it being nothing, this tangible frailty down in disarray. I waltz into this soliloquy unarmed, prepared for muted speaking and chaotic tongue. And merely that, which I focus on, that isn't reality..but only a bend between the two neccesary evils..prevail, oh fire, burn away these beliefs that I don't have time to struggle with.. I wish not to carry these things anymore. So flutters the fury of my guilt, of my weakness. My being is fruitless and weathered, and in rapture by it's own tortured and youthful glare into itself. A moment of silence, of reflection.. Do you wish to touch me again, create a bleak manifestation..? Remind me of my non-existant body, as if a ghostly image my mind has created for itself. Touch is not tangible anymore. |

you write, or appear to with much the same inner dialog that I myself hear when I attempt to. You may not in fact write that way, but that is the way it comes across when read, as a single thought or multiple thoughts simply captured in an inner dialog that writes itself. It make for ( in your case) very good reading and some insightful thoughts wrapped around images that sometimes overstate, and in other cases understate the intent and the context it seems to be meant for. |

very honest look inside and away these beliefs that I don't have time to struggle with.. I wish not to carry these things anymore. by doing so you do bring your vision here where it is written with intelligence and originality |

reflection of ones soul, wow this was a great poem, the lines spoke so poetically of reality and the way we look at ourselves when we question the other. |

Isn't it strange (odd) that life as you knew it will never be the same after some cross your path. Forever changed by their presence. Be it good in some ways...it's never the same at all. It's weeding through the hurt, and planting it in good places in your soul, but only being able to do that by many years of prayer, and wishful thinking. Finding mostly the latter since it seems to be the more destructive way. Love, Terri~ ![]() [This message has been edited by SharaRose (10-18-2003 11:51 AM).] |
