Mine Eyes Know Sweetness Mine eyes know sweetness while drinking her in, My lips they thirst not for wine but a kiss, I hunger for her touch upon my skin, O' there is naught as delicious as this. Need does direct the beating of this heart, Want keeps the fires midst us ever lit, Time, oh yea time, it can not tear apart, The love I'd ever willingly admit. Hope always watches for come-hither stares, Affection doth live within her smile, When with her there's no need to put on airs, She's made my existence truly worthwhile. If love had a name it would be Michelle-- --My darling, my dear, my Iowa belle. Remember, if you're not part of the future, you're history! |

What a beautiful love poem this is, Kevin. I know that your "Iowa Michele" loves it, too. Hugs to you both Ethel |

Evocative.....I named my daughter, Michelle...it's a beautiful name...but sounds like you love more than the name. How sweet it is! |

Very nicely done, a truly fortunate woman she is to have the touch of your words felt. |
