I'm having a bit of trouble with my muse lately, so bear with me, people: Tiny Beings I find them intimidating Tiny beings on which I cannot live Without their awesome power - A power I could never fathom. Sometimes In the sunlight I question their purpose Their means of existence And if they feel the same. But, then, in stark dark I cry without their comfort, The way they seem to wink at me When I smile up to them. I often think "star" is too inadequate a word For such wise old wonders. Something eloquent, and complicated Would suffice their bodies better. But sometimes, you must wonder, Just what they're running from, So fast, They forget, To live, And die For all to see... And why we think It a beautiful, Sparkling, Scene. |

No telling who is running from whom, and to where? Is there really a place to go??? You made me feel small in a good way, and offered up so many thoughts to ponder. Nicely done KoKo~ [This message has been edited by BluesSerenade (10-18-2003 11:19 PM).] |
