The storm begins to brew above, As Heaven's will is done; A demon threatens innocents, A battle must be won! He was a stranger to his God, He hid behind a sword; Adventures few and far between, "This hero's getting bored." But then it happened one dark day, The unknown beast had struck! Hurt them all, even the one That gave him strength and luck. The warrior was born again that day, Hell had found its pawn. He trained to fight and learned to kill, He fought from dusk 'til dawn. But then he found the friend he'd lost, His hidden truth revealed; The darkness deep within his soul, Again forever sealed. A sorcerer was born from the broken sword, A magician with power so frightening, He wields a staff and wears a black cloak, And he throws big bolts of lightning. Perhaps you've seen his storms As they begin to brew; Your only real concern Should be that he's not after you. You see, his bolts fuse into one, Take on a beastly form, Then attack and strike as one With the power of a storm. And when he steals his victim's soul, He sets it free again; He's known exactly what they feel, He's lost his soul to pain. But on this day, a look behind, And off he goes once more. With magic rod and a couple of friends, He's opened up the door. And all he is is one of you, A man who's found his might; He didn't want to kill necessarily, Only to do what was right. Don't bow to him, he needs no slaves, He only needs his friends. Don't try to tame the beast within, It only brings tamers' ends. But what to call a one like this, Whom so fiercely protects regardless of age? The only name he can imagine Is the one he has: ThunderMage. What is life without poetry and adventure? |
