I lay in the sand dreaming of things. As I hear the seagulls flap their wings. The sound of the ocean is soft and sweet. As the sunrays hit my body and lulls me to sleep. I dream of our times at the shore. Of life, love, and happiness forevermore. The way we would walk hand in hand. The way our feet touched in the sand. I awake suddenly as if I feel you near. Wishing and wishing that you were here. I arise and move down to the shore. Hoping to see you there once more. But alas you are not there to see. For it was my mind, playing tricks on me. I listen to the water lap against my feet. And the salty water actually smells sweet. The ocean holds all my memories of you. My one true love, forever true. So I spend each day down in the sand. Until once again beside you I'll land. Crystal |

"The ocean holds all my memories of you." So true! It is cool here this morning and I have windows open; the breeze is coming in from the ocean. The smell of the ocean is heavy on the breeze and it truly is full of memories. Thank you for sharing this. |
