I used to talk to gods at night. I listened for them in the day. I have a list of things I heard sublime in the surreal absurd wish and smiles--"what did you say?" Then a rolling on the drum cymbal crash to drive it home-- in the spotlight all alone I tell the gods those bad "god-jokes". Gods are not amused by me until I speak the serious. I should learn to juggle since that's the thing that jesters must do well--lest they die... crash "Anybody here from Hades?" (a smatter of applause) "I know, I know, it's Hell down there-- but hey?" a shrug "It's better than playing Peoria..." [This message has been edited by serenity blaze (10-09-2003 12:46 AM).] |

I don't talk to the Gods anymore, they got bored of me. I like the humour in this poem, but I think it distracts a bit from what this work is undoubtedly a very deep and meaningful symbol of. Whatever it might be. You still confuse me with your poetry, mostly because you still claim to know nothing about meter. Read this poem out loud and you'll realize you're an absolute meter whiz. Congrats on the poem. Talk to me sometime. Much love to you, Brian Faith is a fine invention |

oh my...yer all too good to me. But I HAD to come back and tell Mag thanks, with a little story: Just last week, my sister (who is known as "twisted" btw) obligingly gave me a ride to my orthopedic doc. In our haste, we didn't realize that we were on the wrong street, but spying the street address on a medical facility, we thought we had found the place. We parked the car, and attempted to enter the building, but the door was locked, and there was a sign saying, "All patients please use the entrance located in the rear." Huh? shrug. Okay. So we go around back, and the door is locked there too. But there was a window, reinforced by wires, with a buzzer. (Huh? Shrug, Okay.) We rang the bell. Then a very large man looked at us quizzically through the glass, and just at that moment we noticed the sign: "Behavioral Sciences" oh. OH. "Behavorial Sciences!" and to think, that after all this time? They wouldn't even let us IN. I looked at my sister and asked, "D'ya think we've finally managed to drive ourselves SANE?" smile. Apparently if ya KNOW you are crazy, that makes ya sane... Hugs, Mag. With love from the twisted sisters. |

Ouch... don't I know how that is. Those behavioral scientists aren't the most friendly people in the world, are they? Good thing you figured it out before you were in there getting treatment. That could have gone very wrong. Faith is a fine invention |
