Colors startin' to peek through
Colder breeze with morning dew
Frost upon your windowsill
Shakin' off the morning chill

Fall is here again

Leaves drift down to touch the earth
Golden blanket on green turf
Daylights shortened, darkness falls
Whispered distance winter calls

Fall is here again

mmmm...yep, I'm loving fall right about now.  Your words only add to the splendor.  It's a pleasure to read you, as always.

Aye, it seems to be time for the chill to arrive, even here in California. You can feel it in the morning breeze down off the mountains, and the evening flow off that cold ocean.

What a treat to read you again and especially in here with such a wonderfully done fall poem.  I agree, would love to see just one forum for poetry again.

Wonderful Poem!  I wish I could share with you all the sight of the leaves in the mountains of North Carolina at this time of year.  It really is breath taking to drive along the blue ridge parkway right about now.

I would love to see what some of you incredibly talented people would be inspired to pen by such a journey.

Son of a bee hive. I wrote out a reply to each of you and guess what? hehehe That's how long I've been away. It wouldn't take it, it was too long.

Let me say thanks to each and every one of you. I'm so surprised to see so many replies!
Thanks!!!

Walt, Maree, Mysteria, Karilea, Nan, Sharon, Thanks so much, and Walt I agree. I miss the old times. This is nice to have it slow down a pace and give others attention. I guess that's why I got replies.     LOL  Maybe Ron will take you up on a majority vote about that.  Sounds like ya've won to me!! LOL
Suthern you flatter me. thanks lady. Tell me how Toe is.

Maree here it's for you.
