I do not know
This bitter blow
And even so
I spend the time in waiting

No news is through
All I can do
Is hold to you
And spend the time in waiting

Although I trust
I am so fussed
By thoughts I'm trussed
To spend the time in waiting

It is not so
Are words that grow
But I don’t know
I spend the time in waiting

Don’t let this be!
My only plea
But who can see
While spending time in waiting

I wait alone
Held to the phone
While tests are done
Then spend this time in waiting

*This little piece came out of the news that my grandson has a brain tumor and we need to wait to see if it benign or malignant and if it can be removed.
Lynne

The clock moves slow
Still I don't know
To stay or go
And end this time of waiting

The future claimed
Cannot be blamed
Nor yet ordained
The worst is in the waiting

Kethry, you write of the agony of waiting vividly. My prayers go out for this innocent babe.  Chris

Hang in there Kethry!
All our prayers go out to your grandson...
while we're hugging you so tight.
