Ain't it the truth -- and be sure to cut off all the dying flower heads, so they don't stop blooming....wherever they are in there.... ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸¸¸ºº> ~~(¸¸ ¸¸ºº> ~~~(¸¸ER¸¸ºº> |

Honest to god! It happens every year; one moment it is a garden and then it seems like I just turned around and it is a jungle with foot long zucchinis, herbs all gone to seed and tomatoes all over the ground. Oh well...next year. Thank you for reading and for taking time to comment. |

You write the layers... oh this is a gem indeed. "flowered plans undone" smile. We just call that the second planting season here... Hugs. |

Ditto Raph.. You must be living in Eden.. We've gotten hardly the rain for a garden.. except for maybe marigolds..those live through anything. |

Disclaimer~The disarray of my yard in no way reflects any part of my life. (Please someone buy that). Icy~Can I play in your garden? I promise to tread carefully. Gardens remind me of my grandpa...he used to show me his 'maters every time I went to his house...miss the old guy. Love the words! Susan |

icebox This is the best...that wild overabundant display...I love it! Here, the zucchini are so enclosed in rosebushes, that to attempt to pick them is painful. But, I'd brave anything for one of those tomatoes that taste like sunshine! I don't have any advice, because I like a garden this way...all out of order and crazy with stuff, maybe my advice is to just enjoy what you have. |

Well said, Icebox. This piece reminds me of my childhood. I have only my genius to declare! |
