There's a smile on your face
I'm scared to let you in
You try to take me in your arms
But I won't let you win

I shake and shudder
I feel the pain within
You say you love me
But I won't let you win

You reach out to me
Soon you're closing in
I back away
Cuz I won't let you win

Fear is gripping me
You softly touch my chin
You want to kiss me
But I won't let you win

There's a smile on your face
I'm scared to let you in
You try to take me in your arms
But I won't let you win

i know how you feel, it's hard to let ppl in specialy if you have been hurt in the past.
