“WHEN WE MEET AGAIN” by nakdthoughts & Bill Charles ~~~~ I should have seen the writing on the wall, and polished all those words with softened smiles. For now the seasons pass and distance calls, so far away you are that words must travel miles… Remembering the sweet tones of your voice, the melody that melted heart of mine. No promises, just loving words of choice, setting forth the future in design… That autumn, lovely was the day, you came into the light and touched me brief. But lasting ever after, words in play, that stole a kiss of real, a lover's thief… ~~~~~~~~~~ Perhaps I should have known the first time, when we met then and hearts beat together, that I would not be near your side to know, if this chance were lost, for it does simmer… Words were spoken then with a nervous heart, your eyes sparkled and I knew not what to say, a smile was one from a woman that charmed, and I wondered what could have been that day… Softness reigned when the leaves turned to gold, and tender warm whispers flowed from within, the memories linger on for more is to be said, for night lover’s we will be when we meet again… ~~~~ [This message has been edited by Bill Charles (08-11-2003 12:28 PM).] |

Thank you Bill, for taking the time to share our thoughts. It's always a pleasure to write with you. Time does do strange things to the mind, but I will always remember the time we spent together, short as it was...and hope it won't be the last.
