entertainer I call you out! living in my skull you slipped through the closing door didn't see you so you saw it all you know how to make me exclaim in wonder I thought I thought I knew my own mind but you pull rare bits out from under my hat and make me remember those laughings that made my fists tight oh you are a funny one, mister! make it all real for me so I can lash out again you... funhouse kind of fella ~he staggers away from the mirror the same time I do~ |

Taps on shoes can weigh a ton...  This brought to mind a story of Janis Joplin, who, in full "Janis" regalia, feathers and spangles and fringe and such, encountered a clown on the street. The story goes, that she cackled and howled, full belly laughter, pointing at the clown. They said the clown did the same, pointing at her. gawd I love you bri...this is wonderful.  |
