Like a check book that doesn't balance Four thousand minus two I am often overdrawn adding up my fees going deeper into debt pretending to pass you off while trying to stop payment I have entered in my numbers tapping into my reserve depositing more than I can afford digging in my pocket only to withdraw I have looked in every window in hopes to buy the perfect gift I have taken stock and lost counting up my samll change just to spend my days on you like penny candy for your thoughts and more than I had bargained for so many things we could have been oh let me count the ways how I love to write you summed up, minus two~ Make that 3999~ Really, I can count! Seems there is always a catch and a price to pay. Guess it depends on the interest rate. No matter how many times I have said I'm not buying it, it makes a world of difference when we know the score up front. Thank you ecrivan~ |

Well, you're already at 4019, so does that make you overdrawn? Congrats, Bluesy...you DO have a way about you! |

Lori, congratulations, sweet friend, on your 4,000 post. I have enjoyed every poem of yours that I've read, as well as every reply. You remind me of myself in your sensitivities. You are a very sweet, and sincere friend to have, Lori. Thanks for being mine. Hugs Ethel A rose to you, Lady |

"like penny candy for your thoughts and more than I had bargained for so many things we could have been oh let me count the ways how I love to write you summed up, minus two~" I'm baaaaack..... I think it's four plus ten. Would that be one plus ten there? Does anybody really know what time it is? Sorry, I needed a fix. I'll give you a yell in a few... |
