My new Pet She wandered into my morning So timid and scared She may have been running from Hunters, panthers or gators But in my back yard She found a sanctuary Where she could have a meal Like grass and blueberries I could not approach her She would just run away So from my back porch I watched her and said As long as I live here Your welcome at my place Here you will be safe And find peace and tranquility "Due to budget cuts, the light at the end of the tunnel, has been turned off" author unknown |
