For Donna

It was words that met the two of us,
a bond of friendship brought us more.
A day of peace down by the pond
and sweetness of, common rapport.

A daughter filled with energy,
a niece to share the fun.
Words that came so easily,
an openness begun.

The pain of loss in many ways
we two have shared the same.
And moving on, though hard to do
a must in this life's game.

There isn't much that one can say
to ease your pain another day.

But holding memories we share
I hope you know how much I care.

*Thinking of you, no matter who I am today.

Sometimes you wonder how much more does someone have to suffer...
the answer is in someone else' hands...and if we can just offer a shoulder, a prayer or a touch of caring, it helps.

Donna, I hope you are healing, give April a hug for me...and if you ever want a visitor, let me know. I am only a stones throw away...
