A Season Of Awakenings

To my change of scenery
Where sunflowers glow
Up the grassy green path
Where the waterfalls flow

There mossy river banks
Coloured emerald green
Sweet was the birdsong
Heard sharing the scene

Tree branches overhang
Tangling amongst reeds
In the gentle flowing river
There a bird family feeds

From the hilltop waterfall
To lake calm and serene
The trail of natures paths
A carpet of velvet green

Each scene picturesque
Reflections crystal clear
A season of awakenings
Blooms of spring appear
