Scrambling up the fence
the milkweed is escaping
in scatters of white.

Ed, you certainly can paint the picture
very clearly with your words.

Your words took me to a wide open green meadow, where what we called nature's puff balls, shower us like millions of feathers, tickling our nose and skin....lovely

Good good morning and how are you doing today?

Long gone, the Monarch
who coveted the sweet milk,
who held it in thrall.

OK that one doesn't work at all. Sorry. I enjoyed yours though.

Could feel the breeze against my face as I saw the puffy white take flight.
Well done. TD

(smiles) Oh Ed, this is precious, sweet friend, I too envisioned the plants covering the fences like kudzu! (big hugggsssssss) Your imagery is a joy to envision, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Ed, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Wanna thank everybody, and especially Pilgrim.....

You couldn't have known that I first wrote this as a Choka....and the other two lines had that fellow as their mainstay.... If they'd been as good as yours, I'd have kept them!
