Nonet-tenoN – Take me as I am

I am as backward as they might come
So I have been told, once again
Try as I may, one more time
In remaining, just me
Clutch me as I am
Or just leave me
As I am
Alive
Now

Now
Alone
I will grow
Let the rain fall
For the tears are gone
And the grasses must grow
Where enchantment lives for me
I shall stride towards tomorrow
Even if I have to skip backwards

line 1.......1 syllable
2.......2 syllables
3.......3 syllables and on down to
line 9.......9 syllables????

tenon(or did you make that up??)
the opposite count of the "nonet"?

Yes, Ethel, a Nonet is just that, which I posted in the first nonet I attempted...

1st line, nine syllables..
2nd line, eight
3rd line, seven
and on down.

My "tenon" was a reflective mirror of the thought above, only going backwards in scope of

1st line, 1 syllable,
etc.

See?
