This Is Where …I Live

I write
in blankets of green
where threaded life
surrounds me
soaked in
sunlight’s dirt
transplanted
dust thick
from the outside
falls away here
to organized places
bouncing off life
here is where
I bloom in
freedoms movement
thoughts and words
glide like moisture
flowing over leaves
tenderness bends
stalked in strength
I truly breathe
within this clutter
and my mind plays
in echoes of chimes

"I am living a life, i have no wish to live. How did this happen?" Unknown

Oooh what a lovely nook to sit and dream and write!
Everyone truly needs a perfect spot such as this Helen.
Wonderful write.

Instant karma's gonna get you.

You live in beauty.....surrounded by life and a crowd of memories.....it fits you well.

Now when I think about my favorite cop, my eye knows where to place her.

I'd say this is where you come alive and blossom -- not just live...

Beautiful...how could you not flourish in this environment! The place where thoughts are watered, and grown. Lovely as can be!

I knew your space would be a place of beauty... reflecting the occupant. *S*

Ooooohhhh, Helen...you have a beautiful place to write.
Those plants are so pretty. I love hanging baskets, too.
My Mom could look at this picture and name all the
different plants. I can't do that, but I do love them.
And the poem goes so perfectly with the picture.
Thanks so much for sharing this with us, sweet lady.

Looks like a beautiful place to sit and watch the world - the fragrances from all the life around you, surrounding ourselves with plants and flowers and things that make us feel good is so much fun to do! I love this poem, and where you live is beautiful indeed.
