Hahaha – I’m strong am I not I could have sworn I had all the confidence and charm I could have sworn That I wouldn’t be writing like this I could have sworn I had it under control That girl made me think this And that girl made me think that But not her Not my fantasy girl Leaving me perplexed At the holes in my demeanor I laugh inside At my thoughts of skepticism My own biggest critic Always seeming to be on her side Smiling at me under her beautiful brown eyes All this unaware to her But running sporadically through my head Maybe I’m not so tough Just maybe I have found her.
