Venturing Out
By Larry Chadwick
She'll know...

It isn’t that I resented being free,
But I didn’t cherish it either.
Though I did long to see,
What it meant to be captive.

And so in spite of the risk,
I was willing to take the chance.
Because I felt that I knew,
The one who could make it right.

I ventured into the land of chances,
Regardless of the consequences.
It was the advantage of being a friend,
To the one who put Humpty Dumpty together again.

August 31, 2003

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I surely am glad to see Humpty Dumpty all in one piece...  So much for the ineptitude of those king's horses and men...

The way you move me
I walk with your shadow
With your silhouette
Leave the light on

Love that!!!!

So good to read you again Larry~
I was wondering where you have been.
Like they say, the biggest risk is not taking one.

hugs for you~

Larry, it is truly good to see you up and about and venturing again!  A piece of Pip's poetic heart was missing...

Loving, healing hugs,
Linda

Hope,
I think that's what friends are for though some are better at it than others. It's nice to see you here.

Sy,
I'll bet you learned that in Kindergarten. Thank you.

Nan,
I think they weren't paid all that well.
And Humpty is happy to be in one piece again. Thanks.

Cpat,
And it feels so very good to be seen. Thanks for the read.

Karilea,
It feels so incredibly good to be here. And thank you so very much for being such a loyal friend.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Lauren,
And I hate it when that happens. But I'll settle for a few patches.

Nancy Lee,
I look forward to having enough access and time for PiPs. But it does feel so good to be back here. And thank you for your faithfulness.

Lori,
Awww, thanks. Actually I've been posting mostly prose. But truth is I haven't had much access or time for PiPs. Although I read more than I respond or write. And it feels so good to me missed by such a sweet friend. Thanks.

Ruth,
Just a few patches and you'll be as good as new, I hope. And thank you dear friend.

Martie,
Thank you for seeing that. Sure have missed you. And thank you for everything.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Aww Linda dear lady,
I've been up about for most of a month now. And thank you for so much caring. But the truth is I don't have internet at home for now. But in a month or so I should be hooked up. So I settle for access before or after work. Oh and lunch time too. And thank you.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
