where the wild flowers grow

Hush
little
spider on my
window..
how you're
hanging on
to a
streak of
web
that isn't there.

Do I imagine
tiny voice
halt in
name,
salted wound
you have claimed..

...my sill,
framed in
silk
cross
stitch echos.

Soft spider,
in jar..
I could take
your
oxygen..

But
in need of your
breath..

will you
escape my grasp,
no board of pin
could keep you locked in..
build a web,
decieve me..

Crawl up
tinted legs
of eight,
feel the meaning
must we walk..
such grace, tainted
grace...

The length between
each woven spring,
you have
tick tocked the season
later than
a reaching shadow..
caused my leaf..

As wandering is
a means
of transportation..

You be gone
when day breaks
and holds me at bay..

I cannot
stop the
hushing of you
spider..
The whisper that
you trail
as you walk.

Sounds a bit restless ...
     another long night?

I wonder if this spider maybe the night and its web designed to catch your every dream?

If 'tis the case ... I say recapture your dreams and tame the spider!

Your dreams are far from over.

Excellent job!

Bravo! This I just had to read as I was listening to the Alice Cooper song Black Widow at the moment. I love it. Wonderfully penned. Thank-you so very very much. This is a keeper for sure.

Felt like a dream-sequence, Meghan...
and choreographed exceptionally well.
