No Regrets The day is too beautiful to fret About the past And slip into the downward spiral Of discontent steeped in regret. This moment is too precious to waste In hurtful memories and disappointments clutched to the breast, better not expressed. After all, the hurt was caused by caring. Let the misunderstandings slip away And the spirit be refreshed In this moment, Savoring The delightful day Not to be diminished by Dwelling in the unchangeable past. Seek solace In this moment And fully appreciate Now. The future will unfold In it’s own time. And that will be soon enough. Shenachie 8 September 2003 |

"The future will unfold In it’s own time. And that will be soon enough." What a powerful and poignant closing, Bridget. Too often, we dwell in negativity on those things we cannot change. Beautifully written, wonderful message, very much enjoyed. Best wishes, /Kit |

To learn from the past - and use that knowledge for a better future - When WILL we learn? This is a lovely verse, Bridget... |

Indeed in our remembering let us not forget...now. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |
