The wind blows differently in autumn, Portentous in its blow, Bringing fiery blaze of autumn’s glory, Foretelling coming snow, Vicissitudes of summer’s flight, As harvest moon shines full, Wings of geese at frost’s first bite, Paying heed to zephyr’s pull, Aye, not the freshening breeze of spring, Or summer’s draining wind, Nor piercing lance of winter’s gale, It is an autumn wind, From Kansas plains the summer flees, Before an autumn breeze, As carried to the depths below, Is innocence; Persophones. Aye, the wind blows differently in autumn, Upon the Kansas plain, Alpha and Omega, beginning and the end, Blows wind beyond explain. [This message has been edited by Tim (09-07-2003 10:16 AM).] |

Now you know, I know. But all that's shaking the trees right now are my family of squirrels. Thank you for this, Tim. Quit being a stranger! |
