An Open Book I Maintain

I am an open book
Emotions plain to see
Poured onto pages
Introspections of me

Read me at leisure
Remember the tissues
Emotions have spilt
On touchy little issues

I wander and ponder
From ramblings inside
Going step by step
The occasional stride

Upon life's blessings
Of challenges realised
Unloading baggage
Emotions emphasised

Wishing well of hope
Dipping thoughts again
In quiet introspection
An open book I maintain

thank you Gem , your kind reply was to treasure ... it was rather late in life that I began writing... so until then I guess my emotions were hidden , now through poetry I allow everyone to see the emotional me !!!
