~*~ ~*~ Of a gaze into your eyes the sight consumes me Every course uncharted, wakes and quivers newly Taking over all my senses autopilot Lit in emerald shimmered sighs and pulses violet While my eyes take on another soft percussion In a voice that barely trembles this discussion And your touch, it travels upward in a fine spray Bringing quench to secret gardens misted hearsay As exposed you seem to blossom then close inward Stepping back, and coming forth renewed in dreams stirred An inaudible conclusion that my heart hears Standing taller and responding as the melt clears While beside you all the time it takes to mellow Hardy breeds of pleasant seeds kept warm in yellow To become a dance of one, as we seem destined For my lips seem searching of a rose to rest in Every glimpse into your summer leaves me quickened In the autumn of your meadow, fields thickened Warmed in pleasures of the winter by your fire Feeling full eternally with spring’s desire Copyright Kkh 9/4/03 [This message has been edited by ThisDiamond (09-04-2003 04:36 PM).] |

The imagery you convey is very breathtaking to think about. I particularly liked the metaphors on seasons. I might not be able to relate to the subject of this poem, but I sure thought the feeling, emotion, imagery, and metaphors were very good and if I could relate, I could appreciate it to another level.
