I read somewhere that we all have several lives At the moment of our spirit birth another was born our soul mate It is said that it's rare for that soul mate and us to be in body at the same time What does that mean? that we spend many lives looking, but not finding? Never feeling the connection a life with an empty space a heart not fulfilled? If it is true then what of this connection I feel to you? A feeling of knowing yet not understanding why we should be together yet are not And how many life times will I now spend looking and longing for you? We look until we find all of what we're after. Remember though, that what we find will be what we're really seeking, not necessarily what we thought we were looking for. |

"What does that mean?" It means that the flames that we are may in someway find ourselves joined into something larger than the single light we are, but it is rare... for the karmic circle demands we learn much of ourselves and along the way also learn not to enfold ourselves into the other half of us, if we do find them... to paraphrase an old saying... to be equals, we must as individuals stand as pillars placed at the same height but a distance apart, shouldering a part of each load placed upon us yet free to let the wind flow in the spaces between... free to erode or color in our own time, our own way.. sometimes... it just isn't or doesn't seem at all fair. nicely written... and something to make one stop and think... as always... I enjoyed |

This is very well done and these are important questions. The answers are not as simply phrased. A relationship that is mutually supportive and formed in love and partnership can be wonderful. Contact with a true soul mate in the sense of a completely parallel soul twin will scare the hell out of most people. The complete loss of self identity is terrifying. Don't worry about how many lives; you won't notice the count. The best part of multiple lives as the individual soul develops is that, like real magic, belief is not essential. *smile* Very thought provoking, thanks! |

Love, like magic..depends on believing. Sometimes we meet our soulmate later in life.. but we do meet...and I believe that everything is for a reason. Nothing is random chance. I love this piece..therefore I'm keeping it Susan! ~Smiles & Hugs, Nancy~ ~ Summer can't be over... |
