Tomorrow’s Reflection

Today becomes the beginning of forever
For I awake amongst fields of holiness,
While blue and orange butterflies
Flutter within my soul.

The refraction of light upon my brow
Projects visions of hope through iridescent irises,
Where I see a spirit in the most glorious white;
His gentle words I cannot hear,
Because He whispers to my heart.

Faith in reality is a dream,
When the subconscious sleeps beneath the sunset;
Red and purple hues covet the awakening skies,
Comforting the unbelieving and the fearful---
But let them not forget,
We all wear the crimson crown.

Tomorrow will be the ending of sorrow,
For time is strapped on the wrist of fate;
The hour of the heavenly chime is not known---
So for now, I leap off the edge of the present
Not knowing when this day will end.

With the richness of this, my only sorrow is that you don't give us more of your talented pennings to savor~

Absolutely stunning~
