Moonlight Shadows Shadows danced a moonlight spell Sprightly in a nights inkwell Sporting phantoms on the ground Making awesome thoughts abound. Jeweled in fireflies twinkling rill Around the trees they chased in spill Turned a moments fantasy Into blatant ecstasy And I joined the splendid pace Did a tango in embrace Slipped into the spirits play And danced the magic night away. It was a night I shan’t forget To dance and feel a spirits let To wake up to the mornings sun And keep the treasure I had won. It is a place a Shangri-La That stays for me and not so far. |
