when darkness falls
as a shroud
of shadows
upon me..

I will walk
the lonely

for
the night

I find it hard
to believe..
that here,
in my
childhood fear..
lies a promise
i made years
ago..

I kept your
rose..
I let it be,
and it may..

Black dove
soaring
with my signs..

I wept
for
what I'd lost..

was myself..

A very lonely feeling poem. Made me feel sad. You have the uncanny ability to draw the reader into your world--or at least into the worlds you create poetically...
